![]() ![]() ![]() Sing approaches her to eat for free and as a way to excuse himself from her, he leaves her torn slippers as a garment, although the girl has begun to feel attracted to hers and decides to excuse him to her boss after he leaves. Sing meets Mui (Vicky Zhao) a shy girl who works in a pastry shop and is generally very dirty because she covers her face with her hair, this girl is a Tai Chi teacher and has found her own way to use it in life everyday: in preparing your food. Finally Hung, believing that no one is going to listen to an old cripple, throws him out Fung, disappointed, meets on the streets Sing (Stephen Chow) who is a homeless boy who is an expert in Shaolin Kung fu nicknamed "Leg of Steel", who wants to find a way to show that Kung fu is not just fighting but a discipline that it can improve everyday life, but Fung doesn't pay much attention to it. The film begins with two footballers from the same team who are about to take penalties for the final of the China tournament, Fung (Ng Man-Tat) and Hung, Fung is golden leg, the star of the team and Hung tries to bribe him so that the penalty he is about to take to win an important commission for both of them fails, at first Fung, puffed up by his popularity, refuses and humiliates Hung but in the end he ends up accepting, Fung is going to take the penalty, everyone is sure he is going to score it but he sends it high, his team loses the tournament and angry fans storm the field, beat him up and break one leg thus ending his career.ΔΆ0 years have passed and while Hung has become the owner of the most powerful team, Fung is an old cripple and alcoholic that Hung takes care not to reveal what happened 20 years ago, keeping him at his mercy under the promise of appointing him the coach of a team and thus regain their glory preparing them as champions. ![]() Shaolin Soccer (2001) Review ABOUT THE MOVIE ![]()
